A rather shabby little corner of the web
Click here for the Japanese language section
Welcome to my site; I hope you find something of interest. For the most part,
use of images, frames, silly effects etc is avoided, not (generally) through
lack of resource, but to focus on actual content. If you want pretty pictures
or music or whatever, pick up a magazine or turn on the TV - they are far better
conduits for that sort of thing.

Recent updates:
-
13th February 2002: got back from Japan last week, a couple of minor updates
to lists in the personal info section, and my
Japanese language CV finally got finished. More
stuff should hopefully be uploaded soon...
-
9th November 2001: tidying up prior to going to Japan for three months.
Added the kanji grid size variations to the
Japanese section; added a new section
for my personal reference while I'm away
(nothing terribly thrilling though). Fixed a few broken links in the
reviews section too, although only by
adding dummy files, rather than proper reviews.
-
24th October 2001: another candle on the cake :-( Scanned in a few pictures
from my time in Japan, plus an accurate summary
of the last 5 years of my life.
-
19th October 2001: finally added some proper
Japanese language content - albeit highly incomplete...
-
7th October 2001: added reviews
of the vast majority of books in my Japanese language learning library.
-
5th October 2001: further tweaks and variations of my
CV/resume.
-
26th September 2001: transcription of lyrics for the "Fruits Basket"
TV series added to the miscellaneous
section. (Submission for the
AnimeLyrics site.)
-
15th September 2001: upgraded the PostScript kanji grid and
added a basic guide to surname kanji in the
Japanese learning section.

Note: while I am in Japan, I should be able to access mails sent to my main
account, via FreeServe's web front end. However, it may be advisable
to cc any messages to my alternative address
wappingescapee@hotmail.com
to be on the safe side. I intend to check both accounts regularly though.
